Grants for planting trees

The Tree Council is a UK charity that promotes the role and importance of trees in the environment and for conservation. The Tree Council was founded in 1973 and one of its first initiatives was to establish National Tree Week, which has since become an annual event. It usually takes place at the end of November or early December, which is the start of the winter bare-root tree planting season.

National Tree Week has become a popular time for launching school orchards and community tree-planting projects. The Tree Council has from time to time offered a number of grants, usually aimed at community groups and schools, to help encourage initiatives for planting trees. It is probably also worth contacting your local authority, as they may be aware of local tree-planting initiatives, and many also have links with the Tree Council.

For more details about National Tree Week, see the Tree Council's website. Schools and Community groups can also apply for grants for tree-planting.

As a small-scale supplier we have the flexibility to provide individual quotations in support of your grant application, and there is no commitment to purchase from us.
