Evy's Pride

Evy's Pride is a form of the Silk Tree or Powder Puff Tree.

It features feathered fern-like leaves, which are purple-bronze initially, turning to brick red in the autumn.

The fluffy fragrant pink flowers last most of the summer.

Please note that our pot-grown Albizia trees are only available for delivery from November - February.

How to grow

Evy's Pride should be grown in a sheltered spot in full sun in order to get the best flower and leaf colour. It will grow in most soils.

It is easy to train as an informal fan across a large south-facing fence or wall.

Silk Trees (Albizias) originated in warmer regions of central and east Asia, but Evy's Pride is hardier than most forms and should be suitable for a sheltered location in most of the milder areas of the UK - but be sure to protect from frost.
