Royal Frost®

Betula x populifolia

Royal Frost is a hybrid silver birch, related to the North American grey birch, and notable for its distinctive bronze-coloured leaves which turn yellow and orange in the autumn.

The stem becomes white as the tree matures, with papery peeling bark.
