Moonbeam

Betula utilis

The white bark of the Himalayan birch (Betula utilis) is highly prized but even in the UK climate trees of this species can achieve 6m or more. If space is limited then Moonbeam is a good choice - it has the characteristic bright white bark, but is distincly smaller, and unlikely to get larger than about 4m by 3m in the longer term.
