Trinity College features the bright white bark associated with Himalayan birch trees (Betula utilis), but it is smaller and more upright than most others of this species - likely to reach 6m after 10 years - making it a good choice for smaller gardens.
The stem turns white from a young age, and the tree grows with an upright graceful form.
