White Fountain is a Chinese flowering dogwood, named for its large creamy-white flower-like bracts. In late spring these weigh down the branches, creating a cascading fountain effect.
The flowers are followed in late summer by small red/pink edible fruitlets, which look a bit like small raspberries, and contain allegedgely-beneficial anthocyanins.
In autumn the leaves turn from green to orange to dull red.
The bark may start to peel attractively as the tree ages.
Like most dogwoods, White Fountain is a small tree, which will eventually reach 3m-6m / 10ft-20ft depending on local conditions.
