Asano

Prunus

Prunus Asano is a compact Japanese flowering cherry with an upright habit.

It is notable for the intense pink blossom, featuring up to 100 petals per flower - known as "chrysanthemum-flowered".

The young leaves emerge with a coppery green colour, becoming darker green over the summer, and then taking on autumnal colours.
