Royal Flame is a flowering cherry which is covered in spring with small white flowers, contrastring with emerging coppery-bronze leaves.
With most cherries the main event is the spring blossom, but Royal Flame also offers a superb display of fiery autumn foliage colours. Depending on the autumn weather the colours will last 2-3 weeks.
Royal Flame grows with a tidy pyramidal habit and good canopy shape. The form is upright until maturity, after which it becomes slightly spreading.
