Acer palmatum Dissectum

Acer palmatum Dissectum

The "dissectum" group of the species Acer palmatum are characterised by leaves which are deeply cut - right back to the stalk.

The foliage is attractive throughout the summer, and turns orange-red in the autumn.

This is a popular variety for small gardens, as it grows slowly, and is unlikely to get much taller than about 1.5m.
