How to grow

These trees are raised from seed so there should be plenty of natural variation in the intensity of the autumn colours.

This species originates from low-lying swamp areas of the south eastern United States. It does best in moist but free draining soils.

To get the best autumn colours plant in a sheltered location in full sun.
