Susan features dark crimson pink scented flowers. It flowers over a long period, and the flowers gradually open flat like water lilies, revealing white centres.

Susan grows with a compact form, and is a good choice if you want a Magnolia and space is limited.

History

Susan is a cross between Magnolia stellata 'Rosea' and Magnolia liliflora 'Nigra'.
